Receiving a Student Visa

General requirements
Valid passport
Your passport must be valid for at least 18 months from the date of visa issuance.
Invitation
An official invitation from a Russian university is mandatory.
Application and photo
A completed visa application form and a passport-sized photo.
Certificate
A certificate stating the absence of HIV infection.
You must personally submit all documents to the consular department of the embassy. Provide your passport, application form, invitation, photo, and HIV certificate.
You will need to pay a consular fee, which is approximately 80 USD and may vary depending on your nationality. You may also apply through a visa center, but this will incur additional fees.

Validity
